Our Vision

We envision a counseling community that values and advances the dignity, potential, and mental health of all people.

The Department of Counseling offers a CACREP-accredited Masters in Counseling and PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision. Faculty members also lead a concentration/certificate in play therapy, post-masters certificate in addictions counseling, and post-masters certificate in school counseling. In addition, counseling students can complete a certificate in antiracism or a certificate in gerontology. Students lead the Mu Tau Beta chapter of Chi Sigma Iota, the international honor society of professional counseling.
