Bryan Stare, Ph. D., LPC (Texas), NCC is an assistant professor in the Department of Counseling at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Before teaching, he counseled adult and adolescent clients in community, residential, and inpatient settings in north Texas. His research interests include counseling and advocacy in judicial settings, humanistic counseling, and addictions education. He is an active member of the International Association of Addictions and Offender Counseling.
