Since its inception in 2002, the Ph.D. Program in Counseling at UNC Charlotte has been recognized as a reputable program in counseling and counselor education. It is currently accredited by the Council for Accreditation of Counseling & Related Educational Programs (CACREP), the most highly regarded counseling accreditation organization in the world.
